You will find me approachable, warm, and real

PERSONAL Background

My path to my career as a therapist has been indirect. I grew up in a bi-cultural and bi-lingual family, living both in the US and Europe. My childhood sense of being both on the inside and on the outside (part of/apart from) has given me an adult perspective that values the fundamentals of being human – our need and our right to be connected, express ourselves and be included and accepted. My upbringing also sparked an interest in how things work ranging from the mechanical of construction to the intangible of human interactions. In college I studied literature, the arts and languages; after college I lived in New England and worked as a preservation carpenter for many years. I experienced profound integration of my two worlds through my own work in therapy, which ultimately led me to my current career. I have been in practice since 2012.
